This is extremely practical & very easy to use.If you’ve never used a Bunn coffee maker before, this is a wonderful one to get. It is both practical and effective. It will also survive for many years, even if your tap water is hard.

This coffee machine is composed of strong materials and is built to last. In roughly 3 minutes, 10 cups of hot coffee are delivered. There is internal heating power, so you can receive piping hot coffee whenever you want it. It certainly isn’t a time waster. The drip-free tank, filter basket, and brew head all contribute to the quick and easy performance.

The funnel and wide bottom filter of the BUNN GRB Velocity are particularly appealing features. This permits the coffee grinds to soak in the hot water for a longer period of time.

Why should we clean our Coffee Maker?

Cleaning your Bunn Coffee Maker is far more than just maintaining hygiene on the outside. Both the blow forward tube and the water tank accumulate mineral deposits on a constant basis. I didn’t clean them because they may easily obstruct the brewing process, resulting in only a trickle of water.

Thankfully, your Bunn coffee maker will come with a specific tool to swiftly and simply remove any deposits, which can be found in the spray head. Sadly, it is readily misplaced, as is the case with any little tool. So, what’s next? You may also clean a Bunn Coffee Maker using a few additional simple methods. Warm water and dish soap are more effective in the great majority of situations.

Descale your Coffee Maker:

Descaling is a technique that aids in the removal of mineral and hard water deposits from the machine. Eliminate your BUNN brewer to remove any deposits that have accumulated as a result of contaminants in the water source. The frequency of deliming is determined by the mineral composition of your water. Especially in places with hard water, this should be done at least once a week.

  1. In a coffee cup, combine the white vinegar and hot water. Keep in mind the combination is made up of 1/3 vinegar and 2/3 cleansed water.
  2. Begin the brewing process by pouring the descaling solution into the water tank and starting the brewing cycle. The combination will extract lime and mineral particles from the coffee machine’s interior as a result of this.
  3. Remove the distilled cleaner and wash the pot as soon as the bottled descaling solution is full.
  4. Unplug the coffee maker from the wall socket and turn it off. The spray head and any exposed fittings should then be cleaned.
  5. Begin by removing the head and removing the deposits from the opening holes with the pointed end of the spray head cleaning tool.
  6.  To begin, clean the spray head and bypass fittings with the long head of the tool.
  7. Wash the spray head and re-insert the pump into the power socket after each rinse cycle.
  8. Fill the pot halfway with filtered water and dump it into the unit’s tank after it’s turned on.
  9.  To help eradicate any bad smells or flavours left behind by the descaling solution, start another brewing cycle. If necessary, continue till the scents have gone.

Cleaning Method for Bunn Coffee Maker:

  1. Fill the brewer with an empty brew funnel and place an empty bottle on the base plate.
  2. Close the lid after pouring one quart of white vinegar into the brewer. Empty the pitcher when liquid no longer flows from the funnel.
  3. Allow the brewer to be plugged in for two hours.
  4. Take the brewer out of the water. Take out the brewer’s brew spray head and funnel.
  5. Pour a decanter of new, cold water through the brewer to drain the brewer or to clear vinegar out of the brewer without draining it.
  6. Put the decanter on the base plate with the funnel in place, then close the cover to allow the water to flow through the brewer.
  7. Pour a full decanter of water over the brewer to cool it down.
  8. Take the brewer’s back and turn it upside down over a sink. Continue to tip the brewer until it no longer circulates.
  9. Fill the brewer halfway with water using a decanter. After the second decanter is poured in, water will start to flow out of the funnel.
  10.  Empty the decanter and pour an additional decanter of water into the brewer after the circulation from the funnel has ceased.
  11. Switch the spray head and funnel. Fill the brewer with more decanters of fresh, cold water as needed until the water has lost its vinegar flavor.
  12. Plug in the brewer and place the decanter on the base plate. Allow enough time for the water in the tank to warm up before using it again.
